Description

5- hydroxytryptamine 3 (serotonin-3) receptor antagonists are prevention of acute chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), Palonosetron is a highly potent, selective, second-generation 5-HT3 receptor antagonist with a 5-HT3 receptor binding affinity that is 100-fold higher than other 5-HT3 receptor antagonists.

Indication

•  Prevention of acute and delayed nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of cancer chemotherapy, including high dosage cancer chemotherapy.
